Chapter Twelve

During 1953, P. Frank continued in earnest to find a lawyer who would or could handle his divorce case in an expeditious manner.  Sophie had made several attempts through different lawyers to initiate a divorce, but each one of them prior to 1953 went nowhere including the “package of lies” divorce papers P. Frank mentioned in his letter of 13 October 1952.  On March 8, 1953 he wrote to Mr. Nathan Kunze to determine if a divorce would be possible through the Michigan courts.

Here are the main points involved:  

1. The undersigned has legal residence in Detroit although he has not actually lived there since his induction into the army September, 1942. The undersigned will return to Detroit to live when his present assignment is completed.
