I have spent the majority of my adult life as a science educator. As an educator, I designed and developed the first dedicated elementary science classroom in the State of Florida, funded by a $100,000 grant from the Monsanto Corporation. This pioneering work led to this type of classroom being designed into the construction of new elementary schools in the State of Florida. I designed and developed one of the first online science courses (NIH Image) for high school teachers. I have taught students from grade five through doctoral level courses in subject areas ranging from chemistry, physics, systems thinking, instructional technology, and meteorology, to name a few.
